I would assume that squires don't have access to equipment like a knight's armor and horses, and nobody would ask them to go and do heroic deeds, which makes most scenarios I've seen, designed for knight characters, not really suitable for squires.

Is there a better one in any of the supplements or on the Internet? By which I mean either a dedicated scenario for squires or one that can be easily adapted, and also one that can be set in the Uther period. On the other hand compiling an errata seems like a lot of work, so I'm curious what value is in it and whether there's a a compilation of these changes available anywhere?Īlso, the introductory scenario in the core book seems a bit weak. Many of these changes feel somewhat inconsequential, for example it doesn't seem terribly important what the name of a Saxon king is in a given year, or whether the age to become a squire is 15 or 14. Speaking of which, I've been looking at the various supplements, and some of them seem to contradict, and in some cases override the core book. but I also want to start the campaign without getting bogged down with reading, so I'm specifically looking for stuff that I'd need to introduce from the start of the campaign and leave for later e.g. I have both 5.2 and 5.1 core rules, so I assume 5.2 are better for a start.įirst, which supplements or which parts of supplements are worth reading before starting the game? I want to use as much published material as I reasonably can. I need some help starting The Great Pendragon Campaign for KAP.
